Made of six loosely plied filaments with a thickness of 1/71 NM or 21/6 Tram, it offers outstanding versatility:
- Use a single strand for delicate lines and subtle silk shading.
- Work with 2–8 strands for stronger lines or filling larger areas.
- Twist multiple strands by hand to create different textures, or blend colors for smooth transitions and soft gradients.
- Can also be used as an accent thread in knitting.
