Its sturdy, slightly textured construction makes it ideal for textured embroidery, decorative stitching, and bold, dimensional designs. The thread is single-strand and cannot be separated like standard floss, so it should be used as-is. For stitching, it is best paired with crewel or tapestry needles (sizes 18–22), allowing the thread to glide smoothly through the fabric while maintaining its structure and giving a striking, three-dimensional finish.
