Needle Recommendations: Use embroidery or tapestry needles. For cross-stitch on 14–18 count fabric, needles No. 24–26 are recommended; for finer fabrics, use needles No. 26–28. For traditional embroidery or Hardanger, use embroidery needles No. 5–9.
Tips: Cut the thread into lengths of about fingertip‑to‑elbow (≈ 45–50 cm) to prevent tangling and fraying. Since Cotton Perlé No. 8 is non-divisible, adjust the stitch density accordingly to achieve the desired texture. It can also be combined with stranded floss for finer details or special stitches, adding contrast between thin and raised stitches.
