The DMC Soluble Canvas makes it easy to stitch cross stitch designs onto almost any fabric, including clothing, home textiles, and accessories. Acting as a temporary stitching guide, this transparent water-soluble canvas allows you to create counted cross stitch projects on fabrics where the weave cannot normally be counted.
Equivalent to 14 count (5.5 stitches/cm) Aida, the canvas is simply basted onto the chosen fabric before stitching. Once the embroidery is complete, immerse the finished project in warm water (40–50°C), and the canvas dissolves completely, leaving only your beautifully stitched design behind.

Instructions for Use: Lightly baste the canvas onto your chosen fabric and stitch using the grid as your guide. Once the embroidery is complete, soak the project in warm water (40–50°C) until the canvas has completely dissolved. Allow the fabric to dry flat before use or ironing.
Tips: Use short, secure basting stitches to keep the canvas in place while working. Avoid pulling the embroidery floss too tightly, and ensure the canvas has fully dissolved before handling the finished project.
