Fabric is attached by sewing its edges to the cotton tapes on the two horizontal rollers. The rollers are then secured with wing nuts and washers, keeping the fabric taut during stitching. As you work, simply loosen the nuts, roll the fabric to reveal new sections, and retighten — making it easy to scroll through large projects without disturbing tension.
